YuJa (Faculty) - Link a YuJa Folder in Blackboard Ultra
There are two ways to link to a YuJa folder:
- Web Link
- Embed

Embedded videos take up more space but give the student a quick glance at the videos to watch.

Creating a Web Link in Blackboard Ultra
- In YuJa, navigate to the folder.
- Hover your mouse over the folder.
- Click on the cog icon.
- Click on More in the menu.

- From the left menu, click on Links.

- To create a link in Blackboard, click on the Copy icon next to the Direct Link.

- Return to Blackboard. Navigate to the Course Content page.
- Click the plus sign near the ideal section to place the web link. From the menu, click on Create.
- A panel appears on the right side of the screen. Select Link.

- Select the Web Link tab. Type a descriptive title in the Display Name box.
- To paste the direct link, click your mouse in the URL box. Hold the CTRL + V keys down.

- Complete the remaining settings, as needed. Be sure to change the item visibility from "Hidden from students" to "Visible to students" so students can see the link on the Course Content page.
- Optionally, align the link to goals and standards or provide a brief description that will be included with the link on the Course Content page.
- Click Save at the bottom of the page.

-
Click the encircled plus sign on the text editor toolbar. Select Embed Media from the drop-down menu.

Use CTRL + V to paste the embed code from YuJa in the "Media URL" box. Type alternative text describing the playlist for screenreader users in the "Alternative text" box. Click Insert.

- To make the video window larger, click and drag the blue box at one of the corners.
- The thumbnail of the first video in your folder will be on top. The remaining videos will be below the heading "Upcoming Media."

-
Click the copy icon next to the "Direct link" box.

-
On your Blackboard document, type "Direct link: [DescriptiveTitle]".
