YuJa (All Users) - Generate an Index Using OCR

This article describes the steps for generating an index in a video.

Indexes should automatically be created when you use the YuJa recording tool and share your screen with the PowerPoint presentation in full-screen mode. If the index does not generate or you used another recording tool, follow these steps to generate the index using Optical Character Recognition (OCR).

  1. Log in to YuJa. In your Media Library, hover over the desired video. Select More from the list.

  2. In the Media Details window, click Accessibility.

  3. Click the Generate Indexes button. The button will now change its status to Processing. The average process time is between 15 and 20 minutes.

  4. Click the Save Accessibility button.
