SIUE's e-Lert is a text messaging service designed to promptly inform faculty, staff, and students via their cell phones in case of urgent situations or University closures due to inclement weather. By subscribing to e-Lerts, you also gain the convenient option of resetting your e-ID password via text message if forgotten.
