Office 365 - Stream: Set or Remove Expiration Date (All Users)

This document will demonstrate how to set or remove an expiration date on a video in Microsoft Stream.

Expiration dates only apply to videos that are stored in Microsoft Stream. Only the owner, or those that have edit permission granted, may extend or remove an expiration date.

1. Click on the three dots in the corner of the video thumbnail.

2. In the drop-down menu, choose Share.

3. Click the Link settings icon to access more settings for the video.

4. Choose Set expiration date and select an expiration date from the calendar that appears. You can use the arrows on the calendar to move to dates up to two years into the future. After you select the expiration date, click Apply.

5. Repeat the steps above and return to the link settings to remove or adjust the expiration date.
