Office 365 - Stream: Set or Remove Expiration Date

This document will demonstrate how to set or remove an Expiration date.

Expiration dates only apply to videos that were recorded from Teams meetings.  Only the owner, or those that have edit permission granted, may extend or remove an expiration date. 

  1. Click on the video thumbnail. 

  2. Make sure that you are in Editing mode.

  3. Click on the Expiring time below the video.

  4. Select to extend 7 days, 30 days, 60 days, select a specific date or remove the expiration entirely.

  5. If you choose to select a date, a calendar will pop up. Use the up and down arrows to select a month. Then click on the date in the month.

  6. If you select No expiration, the video will remain active.
