How to Stop Email Reminders
To stop receiving reminder emails about course evaluations, you have two options:
Option 1: Complete Your Evaluations
The most effective way to stop reminders:
- Go to Anthology Course Evaluations
- Log in with your SIUE E-ID and password
- Complete all available evaluations
- Submit each evaluation when finished
Option 2: Wait for Expiration
If you choose not to complete evaluations:
- Reminders will automatically stop when the evaluation period closes
- No action required on your part
- Evaluation periods typically last 1-2 weeks
Understanding the Reminder System
How Reminders Work
The system sends:
- Automatic reminders every 2 days during the evaluation period
- Personalized messages showing which evaluations you haven't completed
- Final reminders before the evaluation period ends
Why You Can't Unsubscribe
Unlike marketing emails, evaluation reminders:
- Are part of the academic process at SIUE
- Cannot be disabled through an unsubscribe link
- Continue until completion or expiration
- Help ensure maximum student participation
Checking Your Evaluation Status
What Evaluations Are Outstanding
To see which evaluations you still need to complete:
- Log into Anthology Course Evaluations
- Click the Surveys tab
- Select Available Surveys from the dropdown
- View your list of incomplete evaluations
Completing Partial Evaluations
If you started but didn't finish an evaluation:
- Return to the evaluation portal
- Click on the partially completed evaluation
- Continue where you left off
- Submit when complete to stop reminders for that course
