How to Connect to Shared Drives from Managed Apple Computers on campus (iMac and Macbook for macOS before 26 Tahoe)

 

  1. Locate the cougar head in the top right of your Apple device. Mac Menu Bar showing the cougar icon
  2. Click on the cougar and click on “Sign In” if you aren’t already signed in.
  3. Once signed in, scroll down to “Share Drives” under the cougar head and select the drive you need to connect to. You will be prompted for your SIUE credentials to verify you can access the requested drive.

  4. After entering credentials, a Finder window will open. Click on “campus.siue.edu” in the left side of the window and then navigate to the folder named “Share”.

  5. Inside the “Share” folder, it will contain all shares that you have access to. From here, you can select which share you wish to access.
