Checking Your Attendance Grade

Follow these steps to check your attendance grade in Blackboard Ultra:

1. Log in to Blackboard Ultra at bb.siue.edu.
2. Navigate to the desired course.
3. In the Course Content area, click on the "View your attendance" link. This can be found under "Details & Actions" in the left navigation panel.
   
   
   
   
4. The details will show your attendance status for each class session (e.g., Present, Absent, Late, Excused). The calculated grade will be displayed above the record.
   
   

Understanding Attendance Statuses

• Present: You were marked as present for the class.
• Absent: You were marked as absent for the class.
• Late: You were marked as late for the class.
• Excused: Your absence was excused by the instructor. This may or may not affect your grade, depending on the instructor's policy.

If you have any questions or concerns about your attendance record, please contact your instructor directly. You can find their contact information in the "Instructor Information" section of the course, or by emailing them through Blackboard.
