This article explains how to follow or unfollow a discussion in Blackboard Ultra to receive or disable notifications about new replies.
Follow or Unfollow a Discussion
Following a discussion allows you to receive email notifications when new replies are made. This can be useful for staying up-to-date and responding promptly.
Steps to Follow:
- Navigate to the desired course in Blackboard Ultra.
- In the Discussions tab, locate and click on the discussion.
- Click the bell icon or "Follow" to the extreme right of "Discussion Topic".
Managing Subscriptions
To Unfollow from a discussion, repeat the steps above. The bell icon will now have a line through it, and the text to the right will be "Unfollow".
