Blackboard Ultra (Faculty) - Gradebook: The External Grade Column
External Grade Column
The External Grade column in the Blackboard Ultra Gradebook is the one that students see as their overall grade. By default, the Overall Grade is set as the external grade, but the instructor must establish the correct calculations for that column.
The overall grade in Blackboard is also the student’s “Grade Average” in Starfish. Ensuring proper grade calculation in this column enables advisors and academic coaches to support students with the most current information available in the course gradebook.
