Accessing Your Grades

There are several ways to access grades in Blackboard Ultra:

From the Activity Stream

1. Log in to Blackboard Ultra.
2. In the Activity Stream, look for notifications about newly posted grades.
3. Click on the notification to view the grade details.
   
   

From the Course

1. Log in to Blackboard Ultra.
2. Enter the specific course you want to check.
3. On the course navigation bar, click the Gradebook.
   
   

From the Global Grades Page

1. Log in to Blackboard Ultra.
2. In the base navigation, click the Grades icon.
3. This page displays grades for all your courses. Navigate to a specific course to view your grades.
   
   

Understanding Grade Information

When viewing your grades, you will see the following information:

• Item Name: The name of the assignment or graded item.
• Due Date: The date the assignment was due.
• Status: The status indicates if an assignment has been graded or submitted. 
• Grade: Your score on the assignment. This may be a point value, percentage, or letter grade.
• Feedback: Your instructor may have provided feedback on your submission. Click the item name or "View" to review the feedback.
• Rubric: If the assignment was graded using a rubric, the rubric icon will appear next to your posted grade. Click "View" to see how you were graded on each criterion.
  
  

Troubleshooting

If you cannot see your grades, check the following:

• Make sure the assignment has been graded. Contact your instructor if you have questions about when grades will be available.
• Check that you have submitted the assignment correctly.
• If you are still having trouble, contact the ITS Help Desk for assistance.
