Blackboard Ultra (Students) - Gradebook: Viewing Rubric Grades/Feedback
Accessing Grades
To view grades and feedback on an assignment in Blackboard Ultra:
- Log in to Blackboard Ultra.
- Navigate to the course where the assignment was submitted.
- Select Gradebook in the navigation menu.
- Locate the assignment that has been graded and click the black View button in the Results column.

Viewing and Understanding Rubric Scores
If the instructor used a rubric to grade your assignment, the detailed feedback provided can be viewed. After clicking on the grade as described above, the submitted assignment and a panel on the right side with the feedback and the rubric grade appear.
The rubric shows:
- The criteria used to evaluate the work.
- The performance levels for each criterion (e.g., Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor).
- The points or percentage associated with each performance level.
- Any specific feedback from the instructor on each criterion.
Some instructors may also provide overall feedback on your assignment. This feedback may be located:
- In a separate "Feedback" section.
- As an annotation directly on the submitted file, if the instructor used inline grading.

Troubleshooting
If the rubric feedback cannot be viewed, please contact the instructor directly. They can ensure that the rubric has been properly released and that the necessary permissions to view it are met.
