Blackboard Ultra (Students) - Journals: Creating a journal entry

This article describes how students can create and submit journal entries in Blackboard Ultra courses.

Creating a Journal Entry

Journals are a personal space for communicating privately with your instructor. You can use them to reflect on learning activities, discuss course-related materials, or raise questions or concerns. Your instructor sets the journal prompt and grading criteria.

Steps to Create a Journal Entry:

  1. Navigate to the Journals area in your Blackboard Ultra course. This may be located in the course menu, under "Course Content," or within a specific module. Your instructor will provide guidance on where to find journals.
  2. Select the journal title that you want to contribute to.
