Accessing Blackboard Ultra via a Web Browser

You can access Blackboard Ultra through a web browser on your computer. Follow these steps:

1. Open your preferred web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
2. In the address bar, type the following URL: https://bb.siue.edu and press Enter.
3. You will be redirected to the SIUE Single Sign-On (SSO) page.
4. Enter your E-ID and password.
5. Click the Login button.
6. Once authenticated, you will be redirected to the Blackboard Ultra landing page.

Accessing Blackboard Ultra via the Blackboard App

The Blackboard app is available for both iOS and Android devices.

1. Download and install the Blackboard app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
2. Open the Blackboard app.
3. In the search bar, type "Southern Illinois University Edwardsville".
4. Select "Southern Illinois University Edwardsville" from the list.
5. You will be redirected to the SIUE Single Sign-On (SSO) page.
6. Enter your E-ID and password.
7. Click the Login button.
8. Once authenticated, you will be redirected to the Blackboard Ultra landing page within the app.

Troubleshooting

If you are experiencing issues accessing Blackboard Ultra:

• Ensure you have a stable internet connection.
• Verify that your E-ID and password are correct.
• Clear your browser's cache and cookies.
• Try a different web browser or device.
