Blackboard Ultra (All Users) - Mobile Browser Menu Missing
Users may experience an issue where the Blackboard Ultra menu is not immediately visible when accessing Blackboard through a mobile browser. This could prevent them from navigating to their courses and other areas of Blackboard. This issue is typically caused by the mobile browser's rendering of the Blackboard Ultra interface. It can be more prevalent on smaller screens or with specific browser settings.
From the Blackboard Institution Page
- Open your mobile browser (e.g., Chrome, Safari, Firefox).
- Navigate to the SIUE Blackboard login page: https://bb.siue.edu.
- Log in with your E-ID and password.
- Locate and expand the Menu link (3 lines) in the upper left corner of the screen.

- Tap the "Courses" link.
- Select the desired course from the list to access its content.
Within your Blackboard Ultra Course
Within your course in Blackboard, you also might have trouble accessing the entire course menu while using a mobile browser.
- Navigate to your Blackboard Ultra course following the steps above.
- Use the right/left arrows or swipe on the menu with your finger to see the entire course menu.
