Requesting a Test Reset

Students cannot reset their own test attempts in Blackboard Ultra. If you encounter a problem during a test (e.g., technical difficulties, accidental submission) that prevents you from completing it, you must contact your instructor to request a reset.

Steps to Request a Test Reset

1. Contact your instructor as soon as possible after the issue occurs. The sooner you reach out, the better the chance of getting the attempt reset.
2. Explain the situation clearly and concisely. Provide specific details about what went wrong, such as:
   • The name of the test.
   • The date and time the issue occurred.
   • A description of the problem (e.g., lost internet connection, browser crash, accidental submission).
3. Follow any specific instructions your instructor provides. They may ask for additional information or documentation.
4. Wait for your instructor to reset the attempt. The time it takes for them to do this can vary depending on their availability and workload.
