Blackboard Ultra (Faculty) - Tests, Forms, and Pools: Test Settings and Showing Feedback
This article details how to control when and what type of feedback students see on graded assessments within Blackboard Ultra.
Showing Feedback
Instructors can control when and what type of feedback students see on graded assessments. To show feedback to students, follow the steps below:
- Select the assessment to set the settings.
- To open test settings, click on the settings icon (looks like a gear).

- To adjust feedback settings, click "available after submission" under Automated Question Feedback.

Settings for Showing Feedback
Choose when to show correct or incorrect answers according to the choices below:
- After Submission - Students see the correct answers immediately after they submit their test attempt.
- After due date - Students will see correct answers after the due date has passed. If no submissions exist, students won't see the correct answers.
- After all grades are posted - Students will see correct answers after all student grades have been posted for that test.
- On specific date - Enter a date to show and hide correct answers.

These settings can also be used to select when to show the score of a question, and show correct answers.
