CougarNet - Sensitive Hold Messages
When viewing your student profile in CougarNet, you may see a message stating "Some holds are sensitive and may not be displayed." This message appears when certain types of holds are placed on your account that require direct consultation with university staff.
What Does "Sensitive Hold" Mean?
A sensitive hold is a restriction on your account that CougarNet does not display specific details about for privacy and security reasons. These holds may affect your ability to register for classes, access transcripts, or complete other university transactions.
How to Find Out What Holds Are on Your Account
If you see this message and need to know what specific holds are affecting your account, you must contact the Service Center directly. The Service Center staff can review your account and provide detailed information about any holds.
