SIUE Personal Webspace Settings
This article covers the settings that will be required to manage your non-Cascade webspace beginning January 7th, 2019.
Secure FTP (SFTP) is the required protocol within your SFTP client to connect to the web server.
The 'FTP' protocol will not work.
If your client does not offer the SFTP protocol, you will need to use one that does.
WinSCP (among others) is an SFTP Client that can be used: https://winscp.net/eng/download.php
Client Settings
Protocol: SFTP
Host Name: cougar.isg.siue.edu
Port#: 22
Note: Terminal/shell access is not available to update any non-Cascade websites.
