You will need to install VNC viewer and OpenJDK onto your home computer to access your Mac OS computer on SIUE Campus.

WebSafe VPN can be accessed at:  https://websafe.siue.edu

Once on the Websafe page, log in using your e-ID  and password. (NOT your full email address)

The first time you connect from a remote pc, it will prompt you to install the Pulse/Ivanti Secure Application Launcher and Host Checker.  Please choose “yes” or “allow” to the prompts.

If you have any issues with getting Pulse/Ivanti Secure to install, you can find the download links to the Pulse/Ivanti Secure Application Launcher located under the 'Support, Tutorials, and Training' section of: http://www.siue.edu/its/fac_staff/vpn.shtml 

After Pulse/Ivanti Secure loads, you will be on your Websafe home screen. Here you can access your share drives and remote into your campus computer.

You will then want to start the Java Secure Application Manager (JSAM) in the Client Application Session Tab.

Once the Java Secure Application Manager has been started you will then need to Open your VNC viewer application and enter in the address as:

{YOUR USER EID}.desktop.siue.edu

You will then be prompted to enter you username and password to connect to your campus computer.
