Microsoft Teams - Transfer call to off-campus phone number
This document provides an overview of transferring a call to an off-campus phone number via Teams calling.
REMINDER: This will incur a per-minute charge to your department.
To transfer an active call in Teams to an off-campus phone number please complete the following steps:
Click on the three dots ... and choose the "Consult then Transfer" option.
Type in the off-campus phone number you want to call and click Consult.
Click on the dial pad icon (middle button)
Enter your 7 digit off-campus dialing code (PBN), if required, when you hear a dial tone.
Consult/Announce the call to the caller and then click "Transfer" to Transfer call out.
Click "Stop consulting" to return to original call and cancel the transfer.
