Microsoft Office App (All Users) - Combine Images to Make a PDF
This document provides an overview of how to combine images and make them a PDF using the Microsoft Office App.

- Make sure you are signed in with your SIUE account
Tap the icon or image in the upper left corner of the screen. If this is a personal Microsoft account, sign out and sign in with your SIUE email and password.
- Tap the Create button to choose a tool.

- Choose the PDF icon.

- Tap the Capturing icon.

- Line up your document in the frame. Make sure you're in good lighting and avoid shadows if possible.

- Tap the white circle to take the image.
- Tap Review and Edit. If adding more pages, tap Scan all above the Review and Edit button.

- Choose a filter for your image. Document is the best option for removing shadows on the page.

- Tap Apply to all to move to save, you'll be taken to a preview screen for your PDF.
- Tap the pencil icon to rename your file.

- Tap Save to OneDrive.

- Name the file with a logical title and folder location. Tap Save.

- Access your course via a web browser (bb.siue.edu). In the Blackboard assignment, click the Browse Cloud Storage button. Choose the OneDrive option. Connect to OneDrive if necessary.

- Find your file, select it, and click Select. Note: Select button will have the number of files selected behind it.

- Tap the Connect to OneDrive button. (this step may not be necessary for all users)

- Place a checkmark in front of the file(s) you want to submit. Tap the Select 1 button. (Note: the 1 will change based on the number of files selected.)

- Tap Import.

- The file will now appear as an attachment. Click Submit to submit the assignment.

Instructions for Android
- Make sure you are signed in with your SIUE account. You may have to tap the screen the first time you use it.

- Click the Create (plus sign) icon to choose a file type. Select PDF.

- Choose the Lens tool.

- Line up your document in the blue lines. Make sure you're in good lighting and avoid shadows if possible. Tap the circle to take the image.

- Use the image tools to rotate or adjust your captured image. Click the Add Images icon (camera with plus sign) to add pages.

- Tap Review and Edit to move to the next step or tap Scan All to take more images.

- Use the arrows to review the images. Additional tools below the image are available to make changes to the images. Next, tap the Finish button.

- Edit the file name then click Save to OneDrive.

- Once you have navigated to the folder, click Save Here to save.

- Access your course via a web browser. In the Blackboard assignment, click the Upload Files link and then click the Browse Cloud Service button. Choose the OneDrive option. Connect to OneDrive if necessary.

- Find your file, select it, and click Select. Note: Select button will have the number of files selected behind it.

- Click the Import button.

- The file will now appear as an attachment. Click Submit to submit the assignment.
