Getting error message when connecting to v-lab from windows computer: There was a problem connecting to the remote resource
Below is the error message that this article addresses (Windows)
If you're getting this error message there are several possible fixes
1. Check to make sure the credentials are being correctly input "campus\e-id"
2. Restart the computer
3. Try resetting e-ID password at siue.edu/eid
4. When it downloads the RDP information right click and have it show in folder > Then right click again and click "open with" > "look for app in microsoft store"
a. Select the Microsoft Remote Desktop app and install it
b. After it is installed close the Microsoft store and application
c. Right click on the RDP connection in the downloads folder again
d. Then select the new Microsoft RDP option and have them put their credentials in
