ITS Labs & Classrooms - Connecting to V-Lab from a Chromebook

The following steps provide an overview of how to connect a Mac computer to V-Lab (Remote Software Access).
  1. Make sure you have the Microsoft Authenticator app installed and setup on your phone. V-Lab will not work with text or phone call two factor authentication.
  2. Login to the Remote Software service (https://vlab.siue.edu).
  3. Download the Microsoft Remote Desktop App from the Google Play Store.
  4. Click on the "Lab Desktop" application to download it.

  5. Open the downloaded file.
  6. Login with your user name as "campus\e-id" and then enter your password.
  7. Review the MFA prompt on your phone and approve if accurate.
