Windows - Syncing My Documents

Explains steps to syncing the my documents folder to your personal shared drive.

This documents provides an overview for syncing your My Documents folder with your personal shared drive (H:\ drive) as part of ITS’ data migration project.

1. Left-click on the Show Hidden Icons arrow in the bottom right corner of your task bar.

2. Select the Sync Center icon, a green circle with two yellow arrows circling each other.

3. A new window will open titled from the control panel titled Sync Center.

4. Select the Offline Files listing under “Folders” and select the “Sync” button above it to manually sync your files. Alternatively, the status message on the Offline Files listing will show you when the last time your folder sync’d.

5. The status message will change to “Sync completed” once your files are completely sync’d with your personal shared drive.
