Blackboard (Faculty) - Wikis: About Wikis
This document provides an overview of the wiki tool in Blackboard.
The Wiki tool allows a student or a group of students to create a single web page or multiple web pages within Blackboard. They are most commonly used to define or elaborate on a given topic.
It is recommended that the faculty member uses a rubric for wiki activities so that students know the expectations for wiki content. If the wiki contains multiple pages, it is a good idea for the faculty member to create these in advance.

- Digital portfolios
- Define the geography, culture, or fun facts about a country
- Bibliography of a person
- Historical moments
- Student created study guides
- Resources repository
- Glossary
