Blackboard (Faculty) - Turnitin Assignments: Create a Turnitin Revision Assignment

This document provides an overview of how to create a Turnitin Revision Assignment.

Students can only submit one paper per assignment (unless you allow multiple submissions up until the due date which overwrites their original submission). If you want the students to submit multiple drafts without overwriting the previous submission, you need to create a revision assignment. The revision assignment duplicates the original assignment but allows for different dates, originality report, instructions, and point value.

Revision assignments can only be created from another Turnitin Assignment. View Blackboard (Faculty) - Turnitin Assignments: Create a Turnitin Assignment for instructions on creating an original assignment.

  1. Navigate to the content area where you want the revision assignment to be linked.
  2. Hover over the Assessments button and click Turnitin Assignment.
  3. On the next page, choose the radio button for Revision Assignment.
