This document provides an overview of how to resolve the issue of a person receiving multiple copies of the same email.
To Stop Receiving Multiple Copies of the Same Email
- Make sure the email is not coming from a listserv
- The email inbox may be sorted by the "To" field instead of "by Date", which causes a separate conversation to be created for each individual person the original email was sent to
- To fix this issue:
- In your inbox, above the list of messages is an option that says All with a down arrow next to it, select this to expand the menu
- In the Sort By section, select Date as the sorting option
- Refresh your page to have this change take effect
