Blackboard (Students) - Discussion Boards: Access the Discussion Board

This document provides an overview of how to access the Discussion Board.
  1. To access the class Discussion Board, click the Discussion Board link in the Course Menu. If you do not see a Discussion Board link in the Course Menu, your instructor may have added the link elsewhere in your course, such as within a weekly folder or learning module. If you are unsure where to find the Discussion Board link, please contact your instructor.

  2. Click the name of the Discussion forum you want to access (ex: “Questions and Concerns”)

  3. Inside of the forum, you will see threads from other participants or a blank screen if no one has added a thread yet. Click on the title of the thread to open it. Click on Create Thread to start your own post.
