Blackboard (Faculty) - Known Issue: Drag and Drop Not Working in Course Navigation Menu, Content Areas, and Grade Center

This document provides a workaround for a known Blackboard issue where instructors cannot use the drag and drop feature when reordering items the course menu, content areas, and Grade Center Column Organization page.

  1. In the top-right corner of the page or course menu, click the Reorder Columns button (indicated by up and down arrows). 

  2. A "Reorder" menu will appear. From this menu, select the item to be moved.

  3. Click the up/down arrows to move the item to the desired location.

  4. Click the Submit/Apply button when finished.
