User report being unable to create or access an existing Turnitin Assignment (error 423). This error generally appears to users attempting to create a new or access an existing Turnitin Assignment.  The error message indicates that the user's email address being sent from within Blackboard to Turnitin does not match the email record on the Turnitin servers.

The only way to resolve this issue is to submit a ticket to Turnitin.  User can submit a ticket on their own or request that ITS submit one on their behalf.  In either case, it is essential to clearly outline in the ticket:

1. the user's correct email address
2. the incorrect email address being reported in the 423 error screen
3. and the course ID. 

Turnitin requests 24-48 hours to resolve this issue.
