(Faculty) - Known Issue: Error when accessing content via the RedShelf LTI in a merged Blackboard course

This document provides faculty with the information needed when encountering an error message when utilizing RedShelf.

Issue:

When accessing the RedShelf LTI tool from within Blackboard, an error "Oops, something went wrong." is displayed.  (This may either be an Error 404 as pictured below or an Error 400 depending on your browser.)

Solution:

The course materials have not been activated within the RedShelf system.  Please contact the following persons to correct this matter:

  • Communicate a merged course to Redshelf by emailing your Blackboard course ID (ex: CMIS-108-001-002-003-201935) to: centralregion@redshelf.com
