SIUE Personal Webspace Settings
This article covers the settings that will be required to manage your non-Cascade webspace beginning January 7th, 2019.
As of January 7th, 2019, terminal/shell access will no longer be available to update any non-Cascade websites.
To provide added security, Secure FTP (SFTP) will now be the required protocol within your SFTP client to connect to the new web server.
The 'FTP' protocol will no longer work.
If your client does not offer the SFTP protocol, you will need to use one that does.
WinSCP (among others) is an SFTP Client that can be used: https://winscp.net/eng/download.php

Host Name: cougar.isg.siue.edu
Port#: 22
