Zoom: Using Zoom on a Chromebook
This article provides step-by-step directions for installing and signing into Zoom on a Chromebook. If you need to record a Zoom meeting using a Chromebook, you will need to be granted cloud access. For cloud access, you must first sign into your Zoom account and then contact the SIUE Help Desk at 618-650-5500 or email@example.com.
- If you have not already done so, you will need to install Zoom from the Chrome Web Store. When prompted to add Zoom, click on Add app.
- After Zoom has finished installing, open the Zoom app. Click on Sign In and then click Login with SSO.
- On the next screen, type SIUE for the company domain and click Continue.
- You will be prompted to sign in using your SIUE e-ID and password. Once you have signed in, you can choose to join or start a meeting.
