Extend Monitor Display

This article describes how to extend monitor display on a Windows computer, which is helpful for presenters who want to view PowerPoint notes on one screen (podium monitor) and show the presentation on another (projector screen).
  1. Open the Windows start menu



  2. Click the Settings icon



  3. Click System

  4. Scroll down the Display page to the "Multiple Displays" section
  5. Choose "Extend these displays" from the drop-down list

  6. Restore the default display settings by following the steps above, but choosing "Duplicate these displays" in the final step.
