Run the Course Accessibility Report
Blackboard Ally provides instructors with a Course Accessibility Report that offers a detailed overview of the accessibility of course content. This report can help identify areas for improvement and track progress over time. Follow the steps below to run the report:
- Navigate to your course in Blackboard Ultra.
- In the Details & Actions panel on the left, click Institution Tools.

- Locate and click the Accessibility Report link. This will open the Ally Course Accessibility Report.

- The report will display an overview of the course's accessibility, including the overall accessibility score and a list of issues to address.

Understanding the Report
The Course Accessibility Report provides several key pieces of information:
- Overall Course Accessibility Score: A percentage representing the overall accessibility of the course content.
- Content with Accessibility Issues: A list of individual files and content items with identified accessibility issues. Each item includes a severity level and a brief description of the issue.

- Recommendations for Improvement: Ally provides specific recommendations for addressing each identified accessibility issue.

Using the Report to Improve Accessibility
The Course Accessibility Report is a valuable tool for improving the accessibility of your Blackboard Ultra course. Use the report to:
- Prioritize and address the most severe accessibility issues first.
- Follow Ally's recommendations to remediate accessibility issues.
- Monitor your progress over time and track improvements in your course's accessibility score.
