Managing Items in Needs Grading
The Needs Grading table displays a list of assessments, assignments, and other gradable items that have student submissions awaiting grading in the first table. The Needs Grading table includes the total number of items to grade and lists the assessment title, due date, the oldest ungraded, and the number of student submissions to be graded for each assessment.
Below the Needs Grading table is another table for Needs Posting. The Needs Posting table includes the total number of items to be posted and lists the assessment title, due date, and the number of student submissions to be posted for each assessment. Students will not see their grades until posted.

- Click the Grade button to the right of the assessment title to begin grading.

- The assignment submission page will open, where you can review the student's submission, provide feedback, and assign a grade.

- Once you have completed grading, enter the grade in the designated field.
