Blackboard Ultra (Faculty) - Turnitin Assignments: Download Student Papers
This article explains how faculty can download submitted student papers from a Turnitin assignment in Blackboard Ultra.
Downloading Student Papers from a Turnitin Assignment
Follow these steps to download student papers submitted through a Turnitin assignment in Blackboard Ultra:
- Navigate to your course in Blackboard Ultra.
- Locate the Turnitin assignment.
- Click on the Turnitin assignment title to open it.
- In the Turnitin Assignment Dashboard, locate the student whose paper you wish to download.
- Click the title of the student's paper to open it.
- The Turnitin Feedback Studio dashboard appears in a new window.
- Click the down icon in the vertical toolbar.

- Select a download option:
- Current View: Downloads a PDF version of the paper with grading feedback and Originality Report information.
- Digital Receipt: Downloads a document that acknowledges the assignment was submitted successfully.
- Originally Submitted File: Downloads the student's originally submitted file.
- The file will be downloaded to your computer's default download location.
Downloading All Student Papers at Once
You can download all student papers in a single ZIP file:
- Navigate to your course in Blackboard Ultra.
- Locate the Turnitin assignment.
- Click on the Turnitin assignment title to open it.
- In the Turnitin Assignment Dashboard, click the "Download All" button. This is typically found at the top-right of the assignment dashboard.
- Choose from the following download options:
- Grade Report: Downloads an Excel spreadsheet containing grades on submissions.
- Submission List: Downloads an Excel spreadsheet with a simple list of submissions.
- Original Files: Downloads a ZIP file containing all students' originally submitted files.
- Standard PDFs: Downloads a ZIP file containing all students' files as standard PDFs.
- Grademark PDFs: Downloads a ZIP file containing a PDF of each student's submission with the GradeMark Feedback.
- The ZIP file will be downloaded to your computer's default download location. Extract the contents of the ZIP file to access the individual student papers.
