Post changes and updates to your course schedule using Announcements. Announcements is an efficient way to share course modifications such as extended assignment due date, clarification on assignment directions, class cancellations, etc.  If your Announcement page is not your course's homepage, view How to Change the Home Page for instructions on modifying that.

Announcements can be temporary, such as a snow day announcement.  Temporary announcements can have date restrictions to be opened and closed on specific dates.



Announcements can be permanent such as a change of office hours from what is posted in the syllabus. You will drag this announcement above the gray bar so that new announcements will appear under it.
