Blackboard Ultra (Faculty) - Require LockDown Browser for an Exam

Publishing to Blackboard Ultra using Respondus 4.0

These steps will guide you through publishing an exam or quiz created in Respondus 4.0 to your Blackboard Ultra course.

1. Click on Books and Tools on the Details and Actions menu under the course faculty panel on the Course Content page. 
   
   
   
   
2. Select Respondus from the list of tools. 
   
   
   
   
3. If a Learn Authorization screen shows, click the Allow button.
4. A list of assessments in the course appears. Click the drop-down menu (icon looks like a downward carrot) next to the assessment you want to require Respondus Monitor. Select Settings.
   
   
   
   
5. Click the radio button next to "Require Lockdown Browser for this exam". More setting options will appear.
   
   
   
   
6. Click the Save + Close button when satisfied with the settings.
7. The dashboard now shows that LockDown Browser and Respondus monitor are now required.
   
   
   
   
8. On the Course Content page, a shield icon and the label "Proctored" are now visible next to the assessment.
