Embedding vs. Importing a YouTube Video

    Importing

Importing a video from YouTube will allow a full range of features including editing the video. Importing makes a copy of the video in your Media Library and is no longer tied to YouTube. If the owner removes the video in YouTube, it will not affect your video in YuJa. This is the preferred option for YouTube videos.

    Embedding

Embedding a video from YouTube links that video in your Media Library. You cannot edit, nor create a Percentage Watched quiz. You cannot create captioning in YuJa and must rely on the original video in YouTube to be captioned.
