Blackboard (Faculty) - Pearson: Add the Access Pearson Tool to the Navigation Menu

This article provides an overview of how to add the Access Pearson tool to the left navigation menu.

As a reminder, ITS can assist you with adding a Pearson connection in Blackboard, but they cannot fully support the tool's functionality. For Pearson support, please visit https://support.pearson.com/getsupport/s/contactsupport. 

  1. Click the Add Menu Item icon at the top right of the menu.

  2. Click Tool Link.

  3. Add the name Access Pearson in the Name box.

  4. Click the drop-down for Type and choose Access Pearson (Course Tool).

  5. Check the box for Available to Users.

  6. Click Submit.
