This article provides an overview of how to setup the Remote Desktop Gateway RDP client on Mac OS to use the SIUE Remote Desktop Gateway to connect to an On Campus Computer via RDP.

Note: Before your first connection, please make sure your MFA Authentication Method is setup for "App-based authentication - Notification". 

Download the Microsoft Windows Application from the Mac App Store. 

Open the Windows Application on your Mac and click the + to Add PC new connection. 

Enter <eid>.desktop.siue.edu under PC name: and Add Gateway ...

(Replace <eid> with your username.)

Enter Gateway Name: desktop-siuecougars.msappproxy.net and click Add.

Click Add button to add your connection to the Windows App.

You will be prompted to enter your Username and Password. 

You should then receive a notification in your Microsoft Authenticator application to Approve the login.

You may need to click Continue on the certificate warning.
