Poll Everywhere (Faculty) - Share Polls with Other Faculty

This document provides an overview of how to share/copy a poll to another faculty member's account in Poll Everywhere.

If you want to share Poll Everywhere questions with your colleagues, please send an email to idlt_center@siue.edu with the email addresses or e-IDs of each faculty member with whom you wish to share your content. Be aware: when you opt to share content with other presenters in Poll Everywhere, those presenters will be able to see (but not edit) all of your content and you will be able to see (not edit) all of theirs.

Once you have completed the above step, continue on:
  1. Log into Poll Everywhere (https://www.polleverywhere.com)
  2. Click on Account Polls in the left menu

  3. Click on your name to expand the menu for your polls.
  4. Check the box for the poll you wish to copy.
  5. Click the Move/Copy button at the top of the page.

  6. Check the “Copy” box.
  7. Click the “To another user” box.
  8. Click in the search box and start typing the name of the person with whom you will share this poll. Click on the person’s name. If the person’s name does not appear on the list, email idlt_center@siue.edu to have them added to the group.
  9. Click the Apply button when complete.


  10. A pop-up window will appear. Click Permanently modify activities button to continue.
  11. Your poll has been copied to their account.

NOTE ABOUT SHARING RESPONSE DATA: The people with whom you share polls will not be able to see participant responses by default. If you want other faculty to see responses from your copied polls, please indicate this in your email to idlt_center@siue.edu and the setting can be applied to your sharing group in Poll Everywhere.
