Blackboard (Faculty) - Discussion Boards: Subscribe to a Forum

This document provides an overview of how to subscribe to a discussion board forum.

If you would like to get an email alert each time one of your discussion board forums has a new post, you will want to subscribe to it. This is a good idea for open forums that have been created for course questions.

  1. If the subscribe feature has been enabled, you will see the Subscribe button after you enter the forum.

  2. Click the Subscribe button to receive email updates for the forum. The Subscribe button now becomes Unsubscribe. To unsubscribe, click the Unsubscribe button.
