Blackboard (Faculty) - Turnitin Assignments: Manually Upload a Paper
This document provides an overview of how to manually upload a paper to Turnitin. These steps are helpful in cases where the instructor wants to submit a paper to Turnitin on the students' behalf. For example, if students email instructors a copy of their paper instead of uploading it to Turnitin, or in cases where an instructor wants Turnitin to generate a Similarity Report on a specific paper or set of papers, the instructor can submit it manually.
- Navigate to the Coursework area and folder where the assignment link resides.
- Click on the Turnitin Assignment link. The Student Submission page will open.
- Click on the three Options dots in the student's row. Then click on Submit file in the menu.
- Click the Browse Files button and select the paper from your computer. The file name will be added to the Submission Title box. That is required although you may change the title.
Click Upload and Review button. - Review the paper. Click Submit when ready.
