When inside your group area, you can use the tools your instructor has made available. Your instructor can make available or unavailable any of the following tools. If you do not see a tool in your group, ask your instructor to activate it. 

Only members of the group and your instructor will see work completed within the group. Other classmates will not see within your group.

Tools that are available to a group include:

• File Exchange: Share files with your group members or with your instructor.
• Group Blog: Group Blog works the same as the class blog but only your group and your instructor will see the contents. Your instructor may choose to grade group blogs. All group members receive the same grade.
• Group Discussion Board: Group Discussion Boards works the same as the class discussion board but only your group and your instructor will see the contents. Your instructor can choose to grade a group discussion, but each member is graded individually.
• Group Journal: Group Journals works the same as the class journal but only your group and your instructor will see the contents. Your instructor can choose to grade group journals. All group members receive the same grade.
• Group Task: Users within a group can create tasks for distribution to all group members.
• Group Wiki: Group Wikis works the same as the class blog but only your group and your instructor will see the contents. Your instructor can view and edit a group wiki, and choose to grade group wikis. All group members receive the same grade.
• Send Email: Users within a group can email individual members or the entire group.
