Blackboard (Students) - Turnitin: Viewing Instructor Feedback

This document provides an overview of how to see your professor's feedback/comments on a Turnitin assignment.

Professors can leave feedback/comments on papers students submit to Turnitin. If students cannot see feedback, the professor should first verify that the Post Date is not set to the future. This is the date when feedback will be revealed to students. If the Post Date has passed, but students are still unable to see feedback, students should follow these steps:

1. Go to the submitted paper by either clicking My Grades in the left-hand course menu or clicking the View/Complete link where the Turnitin assignment is located in your course.
research paper OR    View/Complete

2. After you open your paper, click the blue and white comment bubble icon on the right side of the screen to show the comment layer.
3. Click the red bar icon to show the originality report.

4. Now you should see feedback appear throughout your paper. The feedback may appear as text on screen or as blue and white comment icons. Feedback shown under the comment icon can be opened by clicking on the icon. There might be additional feedback on the right-hand side of the screen under "Instructor Feedback."
