1. Consider using this handy template slide during your first session. You can modify it with your unique Poll Everywhere username and use the instructions in the Notes field to help students understand how to get started.
    
2. Poll Everywhere runs as an application outside of PowerPoint. Until you've downloaded the Poll Everywhere application to your computer or device, you won't be able to integrate the activities into your PowerPoint as slides.
    
3. When you get into the classroom, make sure you're logged into the Poll Everywhere PowerPoint add-in before you present. 

On a Windows computer:

1. Log in to Poll Everywhere by clicking the Poll Everywhere tab in your PowerPoint ribbon.

2. Then click the log in button.

On a Mac:

1. Log in to Poll Everywhere by launching the Poll Everywhere application. The application runs in the background, and you will select your activities to insert into the open PowerPoint presentation from the Poll Everywhere application, but it will not appear in the ribbon within PowerPoint. 

2. Click the Log in button.

3. Follow the prompts on the screen to log in using your SIUE e-ID and password. The text on the blue button will change from "next" to "log in with SIUE."
